Sausage King was founded in 2019, with the central purpose of selling fresh and processed beef products to all income groups in Uganda. Our aim is to deliver the best processed and unprocessed meat products throughout Uganda and East-Africa. Pork has also become an important supplementary product. We collaborate with pork farmers throughout the country to also establish a supply chain from small hold farmers to the end customers.
Central to the philosophy of Sausage King is to maintain the highest quality of meat products in the country. We use 100% Ugandan meat, because it is a product to be proud of, being one of the highest quality meats in the world. We are certified by the UNBS and we are making a major effort to educate local consumers as to the value of the sausage compared with conventional foods. Not only does a well prepared sausage contain a wide variety of vitamins and proteins essential to a healthy diet, but it is also simple to cook.
We serve local markets as well as international hotels and supermarkets. Additionally, we export to South Sudan and Congo and are continuously working on establishing new markets.
Within Uganda itself, a substantial proportion of the local production is consumed by international tourists, who as well as foreign employees have given Sausage King the approval. Made in Uganda – Tastes like Germany. Highest quality, made in Uganda. That is our Motto.
